Encouragement from Psalm 34

Dan Martin and his wife
Mary, friends of
mine, have been going through some rough times recently. If you think of
it, please pray for them that they know God’s comfort.

Today, as I was reading
Psalm
34
, I thought it has some incredible statements of encouragement for
them and for anyone else who is dealing with a difficult time.

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with
shame. –
Psalm
34:5

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he
delivers them. –
Psalm
34:7

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes
refuge in him. –
Psalm
34:8

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive
to their cry; –
Psalm
34:15

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are
crushed in spirit. –
Psalm
34:18

May your heart be encouraged by these few
promises.
