JESUS died for you

Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She
will give birth to a son and will call him
Immanuel—‘God is with us.’

Isaiah 7:14 NLT

…and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She
wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a
manger, because there was no room for them
in the inn.

Luke 2:7

[Jesus was] tempted in every way, just as we
are—yet was without sin.

Hebrews 4:15

[Jesus said,] “I and the Father are one.”

John 10:30

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth
and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through me. Believe me when I say that I am
in the Father and the Father is in me; or at
least believe on the evidence of the miracles
themselves.

John 14:6, 11

“Are you the king of the Jews?”
asked Pilate. “Yes, it is as you say,”
Jesus replied…. Wanting to satisfy
the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas
to them. He had Jesus flogged, and
handed him over to be crucified.

Mark 15:2, 15

The angel said to the women, “Do
not be afraid, for I know that you
are looking for Jesus, who was cruci-
fied. He is not here; he has risen, just
as he said. Come and see the place
where he lay.

Matthew 28:5-6

After his suffering, he showed him-
self to these men and gave many
convincing proofs that he was alive.
He appeared to them over a period
of forty days and spoke about the
kingdom of God.

Acts 1:3

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for
our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the
third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the
Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the
same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.

1 Corinthians 15:3-6

He personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead
to sin and live for what is right. You have been healed by his wounds!

1 Peter 2:24 NLT

He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised from the dead to
make us right with God.

Romans 4:25 NLT

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature
God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself
nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And
being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to
death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and
gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
