Something that has bothered me for a while is the [email notification plugin](http://watershedstudio.com/portfolio/software/wp-email-notification.html) for wordpress not being able to handle markdown…
Well, I fixed that!
I also added a feature for you to create an “email template” file. It’s not fully ready yet, but I’ve notified Brian Groce (the plugin’s original author) to see what he thinks.

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone could help. I did something stupid and started my blog using a numerical archive system, and now I'd like to change it so that the post title is part of the URL for SEO reasons. Is there any WordPress plugins that anyone knows of that could switch it without sending Googlers to invalid pages? Maybe some sort of redirector to the correct page?
Thanks.
Jeff
Hi Felix,
You should go ahead and tell WordPress to change your permalink naming scheme ASAP. If Google is already checking your site, you don’t have to worry about a thing because it will pick up the new links. Remember that if you do some SEO, the SEO links will rank higher than any old or outdated ones. Your only problem will be if *humans* are linking to your blog. In that case, the numerical permalinks will fail.
