Well, my time fasting from the computer and TV went well yesterday. There was a point in the day when I was really bored, so I turned to prayer—almost fell asleep once, but it was good.
Perhaps the coolest part about the day was being able to explain to my son why I couldn’t play a video game with him. I don’t think he really understood it, but I like knowing that he is growing up in a home where he will learn about how to put God first.
I think I need a technology fast now!
Yeah, I agree. I’m thinking about doing something like this on a weekly basis. I don’t know if I can take it though!
